John and his team have been super efficient, professional and kind when replacing my roof - they have done what needed to be done in the time frame given. Would highly recommend!

I don???t think I???ve ever given a 1* review on Google, and I take no pleasure in bad mouthing a small business. But I???ve had a very bad experience with this company and I???m afraid I would have to warn anyone not to use them. My property in Clifton had significant ingress of water, coming from the roof. I got 3 quotes, both other roofers said the roof needed totally replacing, but John told me he was very confident he could fix the issues (for quite a lot of money, but still a lot less than replacing). So I went with this option. I was initially really impressed with the company. They did the work in a timely manner, there were no hidden charges and the communication was good. However, over the winter, there were obvious signs that water was still getting in from multiple areas. I asked John to come back and look at what the issue was. He said next week but then cancelled. He then ignored me for a couple of weeks, despite several messages. After about a month since I first contacted him, he finally came round, but was unable to properly inspect the issue as he didn???t have his ladder. He promised he would return the next day, but I haven???t heard from him since. To say I???m disappointed is an understatement. I paid John a 5 figure sum and the issues are just as bad as before. I have since got another roofer to come and look at what the issues are, and he???s been very critical of the work John did, and said that there was no way he could have thought it would have stopped the issues, unless he???s very incompetent. Either way, I am left significantly out of pocket and still with a defective roof.

Great service from JD & Sons. John was quick to respond and attend, offered free advice/quote and completed the work for a fair price with a quick turnaround. Would 100% recommend their services.

John and his team were excellent at repairing our aging roof. They worked over the Xmas break to get the get job done for us. They replaced the render that had failed, installed new flashing and soakers. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in Bristol looking for roofing work.

John came to my house to look at a job (Leaky roof) which was pretty urgent with the weather being so terrible and not long after he told me what needed repairing him and his team came out to fix it - they were fast, efficient, polite and cleaned everything up around them afterwards. Super happy with the work! Would 100% recommend these guys for any roofing job!
