Youngs have recently fitted a new radiator at my house. Richard, the engineer, was quick, efficient and gave me some helpful advice. Kerry in the office was polite and helpful. I highly recommend Youngs to anyone thinking of using them.

Very happy with the service provided and great value. Andy was professional, punctual and left everything very tidy. We had a replacement boiler system fitted and would gladly reccomend them.

Fantastic company. My old boiler broke and I needed a new one. I had no hot water or heating for 4 days. Contacted Mac from Youngs and he come out to me the next day with a brand new boiler and installed it. No fuss, tidy workers, polite and hard working. Highly recommend.

Andy recently fitted our new boiler and would highly recommend. He was very professional and did an amazing job. Communication through out was very efficient and price was very good. Really happy and will be recommending Youngs Group Ltd to friends and family.

Going to put an edit on here. So it took 6 months for them to come back and fit the thermostat which was 5 months longer than they promised on instalation and wow was i unprepared for the blowout. Their electricin when fitting the thermostat blew the wiring in the loft and the circuit board in the boiler he said "i dont know who fitted things in the loft but its non standard work and definately faulty wiring and has caused all the bother. It was then highlighted that Andy had not fitted an isolator to the boiler as per oftec standards he had also not wired the boiler to the fused unit but instead wired it via a 13 amp fused plug to a wall socket. All unbeknown to me. These were all pointed out to Martin Young who promised they would return and correct all the faults and meet the regulations.. well despite 7 appointments being made and confirmed they all got cancelled with less than 10 hours notice. No work has been done the free 1st service has not been undertaken they make fresh promises monthly excusing their utter lack of respect with all manner of excuses but im no further forward with a probably unsafe definately not guaranteed or approved sysyem and feel utterly betrayed by the firm. Who obviously knew they were not conforming to standard work or its safety. Beware anyone thinking of employing them they come across as very genuine quoting they have strong family values and are definately not .. they also assured me at time of quote they could dissconect the back boiler from my wood burning stove so it could be used. Andy had Dave drill a hole in the back of my stove rendering it unuseable and unsafe..at a loss of 2k to me for completely ruining the stove. Absolute cowboys. Jan 2026 still waiting and now seeking legal assistance beware people not a good firm at all i leave my original review to let you see how sucked in I was. The Young Group what a fabulous experience. Andy and Dave arrived in Benbecula following a 14 hour drive and overnight stop then a 2 hour ferry journey and another short drive not many companies would do that .. They were a joy to have in my home they never stopped and worked way longer than your average 9-5 arriving just after 8am and still here at 6pm to get the job completed i am forever greatful to both of them. Their wormanship was brilliant very clean and tidy both inside and out. Everything done to how I wanted it not just following an average plan. They were both super company and a good laugh nice to have here and it certainly didnt feel like it was strangers in my home. They absolutely rendered me speachless and left me quite emotional when they presented me with the most gorgeous flowers and a box of chocolates for in their words ''my hospitality..''i didnt feel i did anything special they were both such nice people and that i feel is very important to feel safe with the trades people who are in your home.
