I have to submit this review because this team left me no choice. They came and spent a lot of the time trying to find the problem but forgot to take their testing equipment, so just talking and thinking. Then about 1.5 hours later when the equipment is finally arrived, it was very quick to spot the problem and fix it. Then they charged me three hours (including waiting they only did 2.5 hours). I tried to request for half an hour discount for the waiting and they refused and was very angry. I don???t want to go this way but I feel since they approached others I should also remind everyone. As a customer, who never ever not paying any bills to any contractors, I have to be questioned by this electrician even though I paid them in full for the hours (first hour at over 100 pounds!) that I waited and waited for the equipment and for their discussion on other jobs and for their private phone calls. He always said his team provided quality service, but waiting for these are not high quality service! Even worse, as a customer, in his view I should never question the bill. And because I questioned, he had to go to a lot of people to complain about me. He had never ever apologized for not bringing the correct equipment or billing for the waiting time. He had rather gone a long way to question me than to think about why I was concerned with this service and how this service could be improved. I have never wanted to write this bad review but he left me no choice.

Great service! I called about an emergency fuse box short circuit and they had an electrician out in under an hour. Craig, the electrician, was thoughtful, friendly, and chatty, he quickly diagnosed the issue, which turned out to be a dangerously poor DIY job done by a previous tenant or the landlord. The repair was handled efficiently, and the cost was very reasonable, especially considering this definitely needed a qualified professional to fix safely. Highly recommend, would definitely use again.

I've received great service from CB1 over many years, and all of the team are unfailingly polite, competent and reliable. Most recently I needed some urgent electrical and plumbing work, and they were able to fit me in quickly, liaise with my friends who were staying at the house, and do everything within just a few days. Can't recommend highly enough!

Josh and Craig came over to do a condition report on the property we recently bought and were polite, helpful and gave us some really good recommendations on the work they could carry out whilst the property was still vacant. Based on this first positive experience, we asked Craig and Alistaire to come back for a few other items and it's always been great having them over and as they always clearly explain the reasoning behind the work and why they would recommend a certain approach.

CB1 Electrical Services were absolutely brilliant! I contacted them on a Friday, after being let down by another contractor. I needed a hob and oven connecting at short notice. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and after a few messages back and forth, so that they knew exactly what needed doing, and what parts would be required, they sent an electrician round that afternoon. He very quickly and efficiently got things working, so that I had a functioning kitchen. Really delighted to have such a positive experience, and would without hesitation use them again
