We engaged Ed to remove our old oil tank as it was no longer required. He was easy to speak to, good communication, excellent quote, arrived when he said he would and did a great job. Very polite, engaging and tidy as well as being efficient. In short he was brilliant. Very reasonable price and a perfect job including the paperwork. Highly recommend! We are based in West Wales.

I have used Ed to service my boiler for the previous 2 services. Booked my January 2026 boiler service back in November 2025. On the morning of my service ( 19th Jan), Ed called me and said he had an alleged "emergency" at a hotel and would late arriving. He said he would ring me to let me know. No phone call was made that day or the following morning. I called the office only to be told I would have to wait until mid feb. I said that that wasn't really very fair. Ed called me to say he would come that week. I messaged when I was available ( which was every day for the next 10 days). Here we are 12th February, no service, no phone call. If you didn't want to do my service just say so, don't lie and don't make promises you aren't going to keep. I don't believe there was an emergency, I believe you didn't want to do my service. I have found a new company who were more than happy to turn up.

Ed has repaired and serviced my oil boiler for several years and has this week replaced the oil tank. He is professional, reliable and his work is reasonably priced. I know he will come when he says he'll come! And he explains the work that needs doing and bills are itemized. The tank change over was a bit tricky due to the location but he had sussed out how to do it beforehand, and was very tactful with my neighbours with whom I share access. If you need an oil heating engineer I recommend Ed Roberts Ltd

Ed was able to come and assess the tank really quickly and managed to book us in the next day to complete the job. He communicated with us all the way through about when he would be able to arrive etc. His calm and friendly manner put us at ease. The price he charged for the work was clear and good value. We would recommend him without hesitation and will be asking him to service our boiler from now on!
