   Rob did an amazing job on completely refurbishing our downstairs toilet. The quality of his wall and floor tiling was truly exceptional. His meticulous attention to getting every detail right, leaving everything clean and tidy after a day's work and finding solutions to every problem that arose along the way mean that the end result has exceeded our expectations. On top of that Rob was great to deal with - entirely trustworthy and completely reliable.

   We are so lucky to have found Rob. The job involved ripping out a complete shower back to the stud partition timbers to assess where the leeks had come from - and rebuilding the whole shower again. Properly. Rob is meticulous, working to an exceptionally high standard, and cleaning and tidying as he goes, leaving the whole shower room spotless every evening. His timekeeping is faultless as is his materials cost keeping. Honest to the core. Rob has turned his trade into a craft (his silicon sealing work is an art form!) and is head and shoulders above his contemporaries - in all senses of the word! There are not words to recommend Rob highly enough.

   Its really annoying when you have to take time off work and lose money, and then the workman not turning up! I have to be honest. Rob did the upstairs WC, and it was very good. On a bad note, Rob came and ripped out the downstairs WC and has never returned to finish the job! We now have to use the upstairs annexe WC, and my wife struggles with stairs! (That's the reason why we moved to a bungalow) Rob has not answered my messages, and it seems he's blocked me on WhatsApp! The downstairs WC is in one hell of a mess, and the soil pipe has been left exposed. This is an obvious health hazard. The place stinks! I have to say that initially we were very pleased with his work, but now we are very disappointed. Would I recommend this workman? No! It is not acceptable to take on a job and to quit halfway through leaving the place in an unusable state!! It would have been better not to rip the downstairs WC out at all. This is not as professional as we expected. We feel we have been totally let down! I have dealt with many trades people in the past, this is the worse experience we have ever had to date! We'll not be asking him back, as if I needed to say that. ?????? Replying to owner. "delay/stall & generally be silly over payments," ?? Delay - Rob failed to show on several occasions! Stall - We were here waiting for Rob! He even had the front door key! Silly over payments - There was some confusion over what was bought and what was changed and sent back, when this was sorted, we paid straight away! I've no idea what his reply is talking about... It was me who had to chase Rob! You failed to turn up on several occasions when you said you would. We even gave Rob the number to the door key safe, so he come and go as he saw fit. Before leaving for our weeks break, I said to that if you needed any money, please don't hesitate to get intouch. When we arrived back from our week away, expecting to find the bathroom fitted, instead we were welcome by a huge mess, and an almighty stink where said plumber failed to block up the soil pipe leaving it exposed! He ripped out the old suit and then failed to return! He walked off the job, he left us with a bill (which we settled straight away) and a written note saying he'd be back to finish off. He failed to return after saying he would, when I asked him when would he be free to carry on working, he blocked me from Whattapp. Not what you would expect from tradesman of his reputation. As a tradesman myself, I would be appaled if I left a customer in this state! We feel let down! It seems ??350 a day wasn't enough!
