   Boiler packed in Friday morning, engineer was round Friday afternoon but, despite his best efforts it was agreed it was beyond economical repair. All local suppliers did not have a replacement boiler in stock but they managed to source one from another depot which was couriered overnight. The engineer arrived at 8.30am the following morning and worked all day to fit the new boiler. I cannot thank Gary and his team enough for all their hard work. Exceptional service from a great local company.

Quick to visit and quote, easy to book in dates for the job that worked for us, nice chaps doing the work and they sorted a couple of extra plumbing problems we were having at the same time.    I had my old bathroom gutted and a new one fitted from the ground up. I wanted to make better use of the space and not hit my head on the sloping ceiling so I decided to have the sink and toilet moved. To maximise storage space, I decided on cupboards all along the wall with a counter on top. I chose a large countertop sink basin and backlight demister mirror. Also, I wanted the extractor fan moved to above the shower and to use an old boiler flue hole. All of this was no problem, Gary visited and promptly afterwards provided an estimate. The fitters, Justin and Russ turned up on time and made progress everyday with good workmanship. There was an issue with the shower enclosure which I was not happy with which was rectified. Also, the sink basin on the original plan was 20mm bigger than the dimensions stated in the cityplumbing catalogue, so would've been too wide for the counter, this was swapped for a slightly smaller one no problem. The fitting took 8 days to complete. Overall, I am very happy with the finished product. I would use Aquagas again they were professional throughout.

   In spring 2022 my twenty year old boiler failed, and whilst BG fitted a lot of new parts under my service agreement to get it going again, we felt that it was time to replace it. BG came and surveyed it, and the price was rather more than I had expected, and so I contacted two local companies for comparative quotes. One failed to even reply, whereas Gary from Aquagas quickly arranged for one of his team to come and have a look at our convenience. Within a few days Gary sent me a very detailed written quotation, which was considerably cheaper. Furthermore, being an accredited installer for Worcester Bosch, (whose boilers both quotes were for), had included a TEN year manufacturer???s warranty. On my accepting this quote, Gary himself visited to see the details of our bungalow to ensure that we were quite happy with what he had quoted for, and to arrange a mutually convenient installation date. On the day, two engineers arrived bang on time, and changed all the existing pipework and installed the new boiler such that we had hot water again that same day. One of them returned the next day as promised to do some final minor tweaks to fine tune the system before handing it over to us. The two engineers were both very polite, explaining exactly what they were doing, and left our house spotless at the end of both days. Unfortunately, unbeknown to any of us, the associated hot water tank had a leak in the heating spiral, so allowing the inhibitor in the boiler circuit to mix with the domestic hot water. This meant shutting the system down, and once again asking for help from Aquagas! Gary ordered a new stainless steel cylinder that night, and as soon as it arrived, one of the engineers returned exactly as promised, to fit it. My wife and I had a couple of issues with the installation, but Gary kindly came over and had a look, and whilst minor, and in no way affecting the functioning of the system, he arranged for an engineer to come back and carry out some additional work to ensure our complete satisfaction. Phil, the engineer, spent a whole day repositioning the boiler and re-fitting a radiator, completely free of charge. We were both amazed that Aquagas even understood our original concerns, leave alone agreed to carry out work that most people wouldn???t have even considered necessary. The final verdict ??? Aquagas are by far the best company that I have ever dealt with in over 60 years of house ownership for value, reliability and customer service. Please do call them ??? you won???t be disappointed!

Polite, professional, hard-working, reliable, trustworthy and highly competent, they also provide excellent value for money - I recommend them unreservedly.
