   After a lengthy decision process getting a number of quotes with quite varied solutions due to the oddities of our existing setup, we choose Gareth for the work as he recognised our concerns about the system (40 year old microbore in unknown condition, old condensing boiler, etc) and worked to provide with us with a new boiler and new radiators to give a more efficient system but minimising the risks, for example coming up with alternative flushing technique to avoid risk of developing leaks in old pipes buried in screed. He (and Frankie his apprentice) worked long and hard and, whenever any issues arose, came out with suitable solutions and implemented them with little disruption. There was minimal damage caused (was always going to be some due to radiator feeds coming out of the walls) and they always cleaned up afterwards. It's clearly early days and, what with current heatwave temps, we've not been able to subject the heating to a full test, but we are very happy with the job they have done at a fair price - not the cheapest but not the dearest - and we appreciate their great attitude and approach to their work.. We would definitely recommend Hurfords Heating.

   Gareth and his team have worked with me for 3 years as I have renovated a listed building. The team at Hurfords Heating worked to come up with a design that would allow me to transition from an old condemned and hugely inefficient oil heating system to an air source heat pump (ASHP) solution that would work within the limitation posed by this very old building, planning restrictions and within a budget. I now have an old house that is warm and efficient. I couldn't have achieved this without the partnership of Gareth and the team at Hurfords Heating. Thanks guys, you have been amazing.

   I would totally recommend Gareth and his team who installed a Heat Pump as part of the Heat Geeks group. Great service, polite, tidy, efficient and extremely helpful in all ways. Reliable and on time over a number of days to complete the task. Linked the Heat Pump in the best place for our house and then plumbed it into our existing heating and hot water system along with changing a number of our old single panel radiators for more efficient double panel radiators. Our heating and hot water system was over 25years old so this has been a great upgrade. Gareth took the time on his initial survey to explain the best options and various benefits with no pressure to take either.

   We have recently completed a self build project where we used Hurfords heating for all aspects of plumbing. Gareth and the team advised on a "Heat Geek" approved system and consulted regarding what manufacturer would be used, where kit would be installed, radiator positions, sanityware etc. We were utilising air source and underfloor heating and are enjoying the results. The experience was fantastic throughout and we are delighted with how everything has turned out.
