I made contact to have an outside socket installed. Following advice at an initial appointment I was advised that the way I thought the installation would work was wrong with additional works advised (providing me with additional sockets inside which is a bonus). The quotation was readily accepted and very reasonable given the time and work involved. An electrician attended and was with me from between four to five hours. He was very friendly and worked hard to complete the job though when he left my hall etc was spotless because he ensured that he cleared up all the detritus and left my home exactly as he found it. I cannot believe that the works came to the total of about ??50 per hour for qualified work and included all of the hardware etc required to install an internal double socket and an external double socket. I was expecting to pay an exorbitant rate for the work but the quote was extremely reasonable for the work required. It is very rare that I leave reviews on purchases or services unless I receive EXCEPTIONAL service and work. In this case Leon Taylor Electrical is no longer on my office pin-board but is in my address book and my computer file as my "go-to" contact for electrical works. I cannot recommend this company (and the staff) more highly. I was very impressed with the advice received for the work I wanted done, the friendliness and professionalism of the electrician and the fact that my home was left clean and tidy following the works. An excellent company/ contractor that I will be using again without doubt when required and I am more than happy to leave a glowing recommendation as to the service I received. EXCELLENT!!!!!

Had to call this company(Leon) on weekend due to blackout as main switch fuse got melted, He charged way too much( ??380) for making the circuit direct i.e bypassing the melted fuse and was asking ??700 to change the fuse . In the end we had to choose the cheaper option and had to call another electrician in the morning to get things fixed properly . I would say he took advantage of our compulsion as we could-not survive the night with a kid in winters.

Leon had his work cut out finding a mystery electrical fault in a 500-year old property. He resolved it with skill and logic and fixed one or two other problems whilst he was at it - for a good price. Polite, a good communicator and a great attitude. I would recommend him 100%.

Leon came and fitted a new hob for me. He kept me updated about his time of arrival. He was polite, friendly and did a very neat and professional job, explaining exactly what he was doing as he carried out the work. This is my first time of using Leon???s service, but it definitely will not be the last. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his company.

Leon got us out of a sticky situation when our kitchen electrics failed unexpectedly. He came out quickly to assess and quote for the work needed, and completed the work shortly after (on a Bank Holiday!) Leon and his team are friendly, professional, honest and reliable, and we will definitely use their services again in the future.
