What a great company to work with. From the initial survey to the installation on the hottest day of the year (it was really good to test the heating- NOT). We needed a new oil boiler and the whole installation was handled with care and consideration. I would highly recommend Oakfield Heating.

Oakfield Heating replaced our oil boiler with an air source heat pump. The installation took 6 days, each morning they arrived on time and worked through the day until each part of the installation had been completed. They were meticulous in their approach, cleared up at the end of each day and it would be hard to find fault in any of their work. A professional company who I would be pleased to recommend.

Nice enough chap but charged ??96.00 to give me a quote and turn a knob on pressure valve, which I wasn't expecting. Huge mark up on parts as investigated by a builder friend, and in the written quote, more than double for labour than he said. Update: For this job I was quoted by Sebastian ??588.71 - ??96.00 of which I paid for him to take a look. I found through asking people in my village, a lovely plumber - Brendan Nesbitt who didn't charge to have a look, charged me what he'd paid for the part: ??98 plus VAT ( I saw the invoice ) and fitted the part in half an hour and charged ??65.00 so in all ??185. I don't know what Sebastian's work is like but my advice is to get a second quote although you'll have to pay ??96 to have a quote from him! Word of mouth is a powerful thing and all the people in my reading group have already taken Brendan's number: Nobody likes or deserves to be ripped off!

Fantastic service, very knowledgeable, great work and lovely team. I engaged Sebastian through Heat Geek to have a heat pump installed at my house. I received multiple quotes from installers and had various people come to conduct heat surveys. From day one, Sebastian was great, very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Once I moved forward, the process was very smooth. The team have been great, very respectful and polite when working in my house. The work has been conducted very well, and any minor expected teething problems have been sorted out very quickly. Going above and beyond to ensure I was happy and the work was completed to a standard I was pleased with. I can thoroughly recommend Sebastian and Oakfield Heating, a great team, great work, and a pleasure to have completed work for you.

I used Oakfield Plumbing and Heating to service my boiler and cylinder and to fix the outdoor outlet pipe which was constantly dripping. I made the appointment via email and all replies were prompt. They were able to come a week after my initial email. The engineer could not have been more polite and professional. He clearly explained the work that had been carried out. He also made numerous suggestions for things I might want to do in future to improve efficiency and reduce costs. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I wish they did more than plumbing as it is so hard to find tradesmen of this quality.
