UPDATED - Called out to reseal shower. Arrived promptly and advised the shower enclosure needed replacing. Invoiced ??110 for call-out then quoted ??700 for materials (enclosures cost ~??300 and a few tiles) and ??950 labour (less than a day???s work) and only after I asked for a breakdown. No detail as to what spec enclosure or anything. Let you decide if that???s reasonable. I???ve steered clear and won???t be using again. UPDATE: Impeccable plumbers contacted me to let me know 1. Replacing a shower enclosure is a minimum 2 days job for them to uphold their high standards (costing ??950) 2. That there are lots of other costs to be factored into the quote but weren't included (even after i asked for a better breakdown) because of too little time. In the meantime I've resealed the shower myself in 3 hours (decades old silicone doesn't come off easy) for a cost of ??35 materials in silicone, blades and shower tray repair compound. Undoubtedly not up to the high standards of impeccable plumbers... but very good chance I've saved myself 2 grand.

This is was hands down one of the worst experiences I have had from a plumber. So much so Im even questioning the legitimacy of check a trade (where I found them) and if the reviews are in-fact real and not BOTs. I will try keep this brief. Job brief was installing. Macerator under a sink to improve drainage flow. 2.5 hours late to quote for the job in the first instance. Plumber advised I would be given two options of Macerators depending on my budget. I had to chase quote and was told the job would be 2 hour install at ??95 p/h + VAT and materials totalling ??585 + VAT. I inquired which macerator would be used and was sent a screw fix link to a macerator that was listed at ??545 inclusive of VAT on the screw fix website. I queried that it seemed I would be charged VAT twice and suggested to save double VAT to purchase the unit my self. My message was ignored. Time was an issue so I paid the deposit and on the day of installation (plumber arrive 2 hours late) The plumber accidentally left the sale receipt out for the macerator. The unit cost impeccable ??365. And was NOT the unit in the link sent. This company were attempting to mark up the macerator just shy of ??200. And being utterly dishonest about how much this unit cost to me when I tried to ascertain the facts. They were evasive and lying to me about VAT and how it works. Actually treating me like an idiot. Assuming I dont know how VAT registered companies operate. It was crazy BS I was being fed. Post job (which was approaching 6pm after a 1pm time had been booked) I was then asked to settle directly after installation and I queried this fee. The chap in the office insisted that the unit cost ??470 excluding VAT. I would pay this plus VAT even though I knew they wouldnt have paid VAT on the unit. Essentially lying to my face. I then revealed that I had seen the receipt and new exactly how much this unit had been purchased for. He then changed his lie and said the extra was in fact not VAT but a company mark up. I was fuming to be treated in such a way. The level of communication, work and dishonesty was incredible! They used old and stained pipes that had probably been knocking around in the van for a couple of years. Really tatty. All bodged on with jubilee clips to fit, None level. In the first instance the plumber fitted the pipes the wrong way round. It was pretty laughable stuff. Any decent plumber would have had this job completed in an hour. I will add a photo of the work and let you decide the quality of their work. When I tried to stand my ground an insist I wasn???t interested in being overcharged for the materials I had a card machine waved in my face and threatened that if I didn???t pay the balance the plumber would strip it all out and leave. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a company for some time. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid these charlatans is the best advice I can give here.

I put out a contact form on Checkatrade needing an urgent call out for an issue with my water tank. Impeccable Plumbers called me right away, and Sonny was at my address 3 hours later to diagnose the issue. He then ordered what was needed and got someone out the next day to install the new water tank which has fixed the problem. I had complete trust in Sonny and George from the get go. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Impecc! Thank you again Sonny and George.
