Had a rattling Boiler Flue, which should have been secured at the time of the installation. Eventually got them back and they charged me ??100 to correct their own mistake. I have only just found out from another Company the Flue Bracket should have been fitted from the outset and he said I should never have been charged for the work. Asked for a refund from Ashley McCarthy, had no reply, so will contact Gassafe, to report this. Have all the evidence I need. Worrying to think they don't know it is a requirement to secure a Boiler Flue on installation, where the Flue exits the roof.

Ashley and his team are great! They are friendly, professional, have a can-do attitude and clean up after themselves - what more could you want? Nothing is too much trouble for them. They give great advice and help you save money with some very creative thinking. It's not easy to find reliable tradesmen but I can recommend McCarthy Plumbing & Heating and wouldn't use anyone else

I was recommended Ashley by my builder for a tricky job to replace my original shower. Both Ashley and Cy were punctual, very pleasant and professional. I received a quote quickly, which I considered fair. I had ordered bespoke plumbing parts, which held the job up a bit, but Cy was patient and did an excellent job. I am really pleased with the outcome of this job and I wouldn???t hesitate recommending them.

We were having some issues with our boiler and we used this service which came highly recommended by multiple people. They were quick and efficient and I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly which was idea with me working from home. They were professional and the repairs were made in good time. We found Ashley through the Internet (so we didn't know him at all) and was not disappointed with his approach and explanation of what we required. We had a new excellent value boiler fitted and ever since had Ashley to service it. We think overall a very good clean boiler fitter and engineer, and excellent communicator if you are stuck in a minefield and not sure which direction is needed.
