I’ve been using the garden cabin for a year now and the greatest compliment I can pay Richard and his team is that I wish we’d had it built years earlier! From the moment construction began, it was obvious this wasn’t just another garden office. It was built to last with real attention to detail. The shoffice is incredibly robust, surprisingly spacious, and blends beautifully into our semi-rural setting on the edge of Godalming. Richard took the time to explain every stage of the custom build, giving us complete confidence throughout the process. The finished result has exceeded our expectations. It’s become a peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday life, fantastic value for money, and something that everyone who visits admires. I wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend Richard and the Barnwood team.

I recently used Barnwood for some fitted wardrobes and storage, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. From start to finish, the team were professional, flexible and incredibly accommodating. My plans evolved as the project progressed, and they were always patient, happy to discuss options, and willing to adapt without making anything feel like a problem. Everyone who worked at the house was polite, respectful and considerate. They kept the work areas tidy and took great care of both the house and the surrounding grounds, which was really appreciated after a major renovation. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the finished result is exactly what I had hoped for. I'm delighted with the wardrobes and storage they've created and would happily use Barnwood again in the future. Thank you to the whole team for such a positive experience.

Really great. Richard was brilliant from when he first came to look at the job I needed doing. He and his team were truly excellent working in a difficult older house with akward access. They were all really lovely and cleaned any mess and dust away afterwards. Highly recommend

Thank you so much to the team at Barnwood for building us a wonderful treehouse with minimal fuss! Barnwood managed to fit us in ahead of schedule and fulfilled every request our daughters had. They were also prompt, very efficient and a joy to have on site. We can see many happy hours for the girls in the years to come!

A really excellent carpentry company with friendly knowledgable employees. Haydn has just refitted an old door in my listed property and he has done a wonderful job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barnwood, the quality of their workmanship is very high.
