The team were great from start to finish! Good communication throughout and explained the process to us clearly. We are thrilled with the finished project and would recommend Oakwood to anyone looking to have work done.

Over the years I've worked with Gary (and before it his father Alan) and the team at Oakwood Builders many times and I have always found them hard working, tidy and with the creative ideas you sometimes need to get the job finished on time and on budget. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company for anything from a small extension to a full house build.

We engaged Oakwood in 2025 for a home extension project. From the outset, Gary took the time to understand the style and quality we were after. Our architect had come up with a clear vision and Oakwood did a great job of making it a reality. At all times Gary and his team were responsive and approachable, both throughout the bidding process and the actual build. This made communication straightforward and stress-free. The work was completed to the high standard that we required, with no corners cut despite a competitive bid that comfortably fitted our budget. Oakwood agreed a detailed contract that included a completion timeline, and impressively, they stuck to every milestone, finishing the project exactly as agreed. The various trades were always pleasant to have around, respectful of our space, and maintained a positive presence on site. We are delighted with the result andwould have no hesitation recommending Oakwood for similar projects.

I recently had work completed by a company called Oakwood builders to build an extension above our garage. My wife and I where extremely pleased with all the hard work and organisation of the work carried out. The foreman that ran the job (Terry) was fantastic, very easy to talk too and always happy to advise what to do. The job ran very smoothly start to finish with no problems. All of the team where clean and polite and work very hard even in the heat wave we had. I would highly recommend Oakwood Builders.
