We worked with Barkham Construction to transform my home by creating a beautiful open-plan kitchen and living space, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From the outset, they really understood the vision and brought it to life with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. They also built a stunning oak porch at the front of the house, which has completely transformed the property’s kerb appeal and added so much character. The team were professional, reliable and completed the project within the agreed timeframe. Communication was excellent throughout, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would highly recommend Barkham Construction to anyone looking to renovate or extend their home. They truly helped turn our ideas into reality.

This is the second time John, Dan and team from Barkham Construction have completed work for us. We wouldn’t have any other company back - they are fantastic. This time project was to relay floor tiles and fit interior oak doors. Superb job done, very tidy and considerate.

I recently used Barkham Construction again and they absolutely deserve a 5 star review. They divided my garage in half to create a home studio office and the result is exceptional. It is fully insulated so it keeps the heat in brilliantly and the finish is genuinely high spec. They also built a solid and beautifully made shed with feather edged wooden cladding, full power and lighting, double doors, guttering and proper drainage. It looks fantastic and is built to last. One thing that always stands out with Barkham Construction is how tidy they are. They keep the workspace spotless throughout the job and clean up any mess before leaving each day which makes the whole experience so much easier and stress free. Every part of the process was seamless, competitively priced and completely professional. I have used this team for four different jobs over the years including making my kitchen open plan and building a utility room and they have been consistently brilliant every single time. Great team great quality of work and I will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.

I recently hired Barkham Construction to build a downstairs cloakroom, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From start to finish, John and his team’s professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were fantastic. They helped me get the best out of the available (very small) space and discussed what I wanted every step of the way. All elements, from the plumbing and plastering to the fixtures and electrics, were completed to an exceptional standard and at a very reasonable price. The guys were friendly, polite and tidy and left my house as clean as possible at the end of each day. I never realised I would get so excited about a downstairs cloakroom, but it really is an amazing addition to my home. I would certainly recommend Barkham Construction if you’re looking for a reliable, skilled and professional building company. Thank you for a fantastic job!

We have used Barkham construction for the past 28years on three of our properties, with over 6 major extensions and other home improvements. We would not use any other company and would rather wait until they became available than go elsewhere. We have recommended them to many of our friends who also have been delighted with all their work. They have always finished on time and they leave your premises clean and tidy at the end of every days work. Their craftsmanship is impeccable and it has added tens of thousands of pounds to our homes, we highly recommend them.
