I had a very positive experience working with my contractor Robbie at RLS for my home renovation project. From the beginning, he demonstrated strong knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. He took the time to explain things clearly, discuss practical options, and recommend sensible solutions based on both functionality and budget. What stood out most was how hands-on and responsive he was throughout the entire process. He managed the work closely himself and only subcontracted when necessary, which gave me confidence in the quality and consistency of the workmanship. Communication was always prompt and transparent, and he kept me regularly updated, especially since I was overseas for much of the renovation period. The overall quality of work exceeded my expectations, and the entire process felt smooth and well-managed. Reliable, solution-oriented, and trustworthy — he truly gave me peace of mind. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable renovation contractor in the area.

I cannot recommend RLS enough, from start to finish Robbie has kept me up to date, handled everything for me as I live 200 miles away and has been reliable and so helpful. Robbie and his team refurbed my mums whole house, brand new kitchen, bathroom, boiler and even sorted the garden. It’s now worth £150k more than when we started! Thank you so much again, absolutely 5* service and work.

We would highly recommend Paul, Paul and Robbie at RLS without hesitation. They recently completed a first-storey rear extension for us, which included a new kitchen and outdoor space, and the entire process was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care. The project was delivered on time, within budget, and to an exceptionally high standard. The team was consistently friendly, approachable, and solution-oriented—resolving any issues that arose quickly, with minimal disruption and no additional cost. Their thoughtful approach to scheduling and execution ensured that the impact on our daily lives was kept to a minimum. They maintained a clean and tidy worksite, always leaving things in good order at the end of each day. Remarkably, they became such a positive presence that we genuinely missed having them around once the project was completed. We would not hesitate to work with them again in the future

For those of you who are looking for committed, honest, reliable, skilful and friendly builders - look no further! I have never been able to recommend anyone as wholeheartedly as RLS who completely transformed our house in what was a year-long project. Robbie and Paul took on our project on our house in Ashley Park which involved gutting the whole house to a shell, taking the existing roof off and then constructing a double storey rear and side extension in brickwork. After installing all the structural steels, they re-built the roof over the existing and new parts of the house. Inside they handled all the renovation and carpentry including installing and tiling 5 bathrooms, two staircases, a kitchen, cinema room and all the underfloor heating. They worked tirelessly and professionally throughout the entire project with real attention for detail. They were conscientious and creative and able to quickly and calmly navigate any hitches and advise us on any decisions and developments as they arose. We could not have been happier, not just with the result, but the whole process (something we have never been able to say about previous builders at previous houses!) and feel truly grateful that such a wonderful team put their heart and soul into making our house a home.

RLS Construction completed a renovation for us at the end of 2023 which included a complete reconfiguration of the downstairs layout, new kitchen, new shower room, extension and patio. We cannot recommend them highly enough, the work was completed to an extremely high standard, on budget and ahead of time. Communication was excellent throughout the project and they were flexible with changes to scope along the way. Paul, Paul and Robbie were a pleasure to work with; friendly, personable, neat and tidy. We lived in the house for the duration and they went out of their way to make it as smooth and undisruptive for us as possible. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommend to others.
