   I contacted Barry as I noticed water ingress around the chimney breast in the loft. He popped around a day or two later with a colleague to access the issue. His colleague went straight up a ladder and took photos of the damaged leading and they also had a look inside the loft. I went with First Choice as Barry was very direct with what needed doing, showed photos of other works they'd done, and said I didn't need expensive scaffolding or the chimney dismantled, unlike another company. The work was carried out promptly and involved new lead work, felt and battening around the chimney and was completed in a few hours with photos showing the progress. After another strong storm I noticed some ingress still and messaged Barry who sent one of his guys around first thing the following morning. This turned out that the lead had slipped slightly when a tile had been replaced and took 10 mins to fix. However, after another storm I still noticed some water ingress and contacted Barry who again sent someone around the following morning. I was told the work that had been done was absolutely fine, but that the 70 year old bricks where now porous and would need sealing. That weekend one of the guys came around and painted on some very expensive sealer (included in my original price so no extras) and I'm happy to say that did the job. No issues since. So basically I had a couple of issues....old and cracked leading and porous bricks, all of which Barry and his team fixed quickly and efficiently. Barry's replies to messages were prompt and his team are friendly and do a great job and want to make sure the customer is happy. I definitely recommend them.

   Barry and his team were great. They sorted me out with some new fascia, soffit and guttering. They also repaired the lead fittings and a loose tile on my porch. Whilst doing this, they noted that the roof felt around the edge of my roof had deteriorated and needed replacing, which they kindly completed the very next day. All the work was carried out very quickly and efficiently. Barry gave me a fair price, 20 year guarantee for the work and even honoured it despite an increase in materials cost due to the war. I will definitely be coming back to these guys if i need more work done.

   Fast and excellent service from Barry and his team. They came on the same day I called and immediately identified the issues with the chimney. They were able to complete the work to install new lead flashings and fit chimney cowlings on the following Monday morning. Just in time before a storm the next day! The communication was clear and responsive throughout. I highly recommend Barry for any issues with your roof!
